Wood & Wonder Studio Custom Team Sign Giveaway: Official Rules

1.Sponsor
The Wood & Wonder Studio Custom Team Sign Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is run by Wood & Wonder Studio, Toronto, Ontario (the "Sponsor"). Questions: sam@woodandwonderstudio.com.
2.Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins at 9:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on Thursday, October 29, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on Thursday, November 12, 2026 (the "Giveaway Period"). Entries received before or after the Giveaway Period are not eligible. The Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper.
3.Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Ontario, Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Not eligible: the Sponsor, members of the Sponsor's household, and anyone who helps run the Giveaway. Proof of age and residence may be requested before a winner is confirmed.
4.How to Enter
No purchase is required, and buying anything does not improve your chances. There are two ways to enter. Both give the same number of entries and the same chance of winning.
(a) Social media entry: during the Giveaway Period, like and follow @woodandwonderstudio on Instagram or the Wood & Wonder Studio Facebook Page, and leave a comment on the Giveaway post naming the team you would make a sign for. This gives one (1) entry.
(b) Free email entry (no social media account, like, follow or comment needed): during the Giveaway Period, send an email to sam@woodandwonderstudio.com with the subject "Team Sign Giveaway", including your full name, your city or town in Ontario, and the team you would make a sign for. This gives one (1) entry.
5.Optional Bonus Entry and Entry Limits
Each person may earn one (1) optional bonus entry, for a maximum of two (2) entries per person in total, across all methods, accounts and platforms:
(a) Social media: leave a second comment on the Giveaway post naming a second team you would make a sign for.
(b) Email: in the same entry email, or one second email with the same subject, write the name of a second team you would make a sign for.
Tagging friends, and sharing the Giveaway to your own timeline, feed or story, do not create entries. Extra comments, tags, accounts or emails beyond the limit are disregarded. Entries made by automated means, scripts, bots or multiple or fake accounts are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or not received because of technical problems, or for comments that a platform hides or removes.
6.Prize
One (1) prize is available: one (1) custom double sided team sign made by the Sponsor in the base configuration shown on the Sponsor's Etsy listing (https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/4572167238/custom-double-sided-hockey-team-logo) when the prize is fulfilled, including one digital design proof for the winner's approval and standard shipping to an address in Ontario. Optional upgrades are not included. There is one prize for all of Ontario. It is not allocated by region. Standard shipping to the winner's Ontario address is included at no cost to the winner.
Approximate retail value: C$89.99 (base price of Etsy listing 4572167238, verified live by Etsy Ops Oct 20, 2026; options run to C$109.99), plus standard shipping to Ontario.
The winner must supply team name and artwork they own or have permission to use, and must approve the digital proof before the sign is made. The Sponsor may decline artwork it reasonably believes infringes someone else's rights or is offensive, and will ask for replacement artwork. The prize is not transferable and has no cash substitute. If the prize cannot be provided as described for reasons outside the Sponsor's control, the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
7.Odds
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
8.Draw
On Monday, November 16, 2026, the Sponsor will select one (1) eligible entry at random from all eligible entries received by both methods. Every eligible entry is numbered and a random number generator is used to pick the winning number. The Sponsor keeps a record of the draw.
9.Skill Testing Question
Before being confirmed as the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time limited mathematical skill testing question (for example, a multi step arithmetic question). It will be given by phone, video call or in writing, within a time limit set by the Sponsor. If the selected entrant does not answer correctly within the time limit, they will not be the winner and an alternate entry will be drawn at random.
10.Winner Contact, Response Deadline and Alternate Winner
The selected entrant will be contacted within three (3) business days after the draw: by reply comment and direct message on the platform where they entered, or by email if they entered by email. The Sponsor will only contact the selected entrant from @woodandwonderstudio, the Wood & Wonder Studio Facebook Page or sam@woodandwonderstudio.com, and will never ask for payment, banking, card or login details.
The selected entrant must respond within seven (7) days of the first contact attempt. If they do not respond in time, are not eligible, do not answer the skill testing question correctly, or do not follow these rules, an alternate eligible entry will be drawn at random and the same steps apply.
11.Prize Fulfilment
After the winner is confirmed, the Sponsor will ask for the team details and artwork, prepare the digital design proof, and make and ship the sign after the winner approves the proof. The winner must supply artwork within sixty (60) days after confirmation, or the prize may be forfeited. The winner does not need to buy anything or create an Etsy account.
12.Release
By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor and Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram and Facebook from any and all liability related to the Giveaway, their entry, and the acceptance or use of the prize. The confirmed winner may be asked to sign a short declaration and release confirming eligibility, compliance with these rules and this release.
13.Meta Statement
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Facebook (Meta). By entering, entrants release Meta from any liability. Information is provided to the Sponsor, not to Meta. Questions about the Giveaway go to the Sponsor, not to Instagram or Facebook.
14.Privacy
Personal information collected (such as name, city, email address and social media handle) is used only to run this Giveaway, contact the selected entrant and deliver the prize. It is not used for marketing, not added to any mailing list, and not sold or shared. By entering, you consent to the Sponsor collecting and using this information for these purposes only. It is kept until the prize is delivered and then deleted, except the draw record. To see or correct your information, email sam@woodandwonderstudio.com.
15.Winner Announcement
With the winner's consent only, the Sponsor may announce the winner's first name and team name. No photo of the winner or the team will be used without separate written permission.
16.Right to Cancel or Modify
The Sponsor may disqualify any entry that does not follow these rules or the Instagram or Facebook terms. If the Giveaway cannot run as planned because of tampering, technical failure or another cause outside the Sponsor's reasonable control, the Sponsor may cancel, suspend or modify it, and will post a notice on the same channels. Any change will not reduce the prize. The Sponsor's decisions on all matters relating to the Giveaway are final.
17.Governing Law
These rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
